Choosing the correct waste type for your skip bin hire is an important decision. Waste type and bin weight (and volume) are the main factors for dictating the price for a skip bin hire.
When your skip bin is transported to the local Brisbane waste processing facility, we are charged varying amounts depending on the weight and type of waste in the skip bin.
Choosing the right waste type also helps from an environmental point of view. From a environmental sustainability perspective we would much rather dump recyclable materials into a recyclable area to avoid it going to landfill.

Allowed
Timber, Plasterboard, cabinetry, furniture, carpet, flooring, pvc / copper pipes, garden cuttings and similar.
Not Allowed
No Mixed Heavy Waste allowed e.g. No soil, Concrete, Bricks and Rock. No asbestos, food waste, tyres, liquids, paint, batteries, oils, gas bottles, anything hazardous.
HOUSEHOLD WASTE
Allowed
Strictly 100% household waste such as general household clean-ups, moving out cleans and garage cleans.
Not Allowed
No asbestos, food waste, tyres, liquids, paint, batteries, oils, gas bottles, anything hazardous.
GREEN WASTE & TIMBER
Allowed
Branches, leaves, garden offcuts, grass, clippings, small trees, all types of clean timber.
Not Allowed
Anything else including general waste, asbestos, food waste, tyres, liquids, paint, batteries, oils, gas bottles, anything hazardous.
HEAVY WASTE
Allowed
Bricks, concrete and rubble. Timber, Plasterboard, cabinetry, furniture, carpet, flooring, pvc / copper pipes, garden cuttings and similar.
Not Allowed
No asbestos, food waste, tyres, liquids, paint, batteries, oils, gas bottles, anything hazardous.
SOIL
Allowed
Soil only.
Not Allowed
